The mountains look good, but the strokes look so rushed. Just slow down, take your time, do your best.

Wow, the mountains are a lot better, though some edges could be sharper. Generally your edges could be sharper, also in the carribean enviro.

Nice colors in these studies, man. Very well observed.
You aren't using the color picker, are you?
As other have said, your mark making is what could be most improved in these pieces. Scribbly marks like in your mountains have a certain charm to them, especially in fairly quick and loose pieces, but you'll also want to figure out how to say a lot with a little, how to efficiently paint something so that texture and detail is suggested, but you don't paint every little detail. It's tough, though, and I'm not very good at it.

Wow thats allot of comments for me! Thanx guys and gals.

Janos - Thanx dude, from now on i'll use sharper edged brushes on my enviro studies.

Moai - Thanx matey for the visit. Extra thanx for the advice and no colour picker was used in the making of these enviro's or infact any of my digital peices. I feel likes its cheating.

paperX - Thanx for the support dude.

Rushlord - Thanx dude hopefully i'll be as good digitally as i am traditionaly soon.

the ANGRY filipino - Thanx for the awesome post mate, glad your liking the thread.

    wookiedabo - Thanx!

Now the replies are done, on to the work which is only one peice at the mo.
A W.I.P, thats all for the moment.

The contrast between the first page and the fifth page is amazing. I love the painting of the beach. The color of the sand looks a little strange (not saturated enough, perhaps?).

the sketch books good, i can see a major improvement and its really great to see that. I see a similar style throughout the works, thats been referred as the "fuzzy bear" it sort of shows a timidness in drawing, doing lots of quick figure gestures (30-60) sec, long strokes, looking at what your drawing more then your drawing itself. Be bold, and confident, along with those look at angles and shapes. good luck in the future, keep it up.

    Traditional mediums! Nice
Thinking back to such things in High School, I recall just how evul working with such things can be, but it looks like you have tamed the demon of the paint and in an awesome way too

    Hello Me!
Nice work on the life studies!
I think it's wonderful that you are paying attention to traditional work as well.
one crit on the latest creature update is that his shell looks flat...
might need some more work on that area..
    keep it up!

cool sketchbook! love your traditional paintings and poses. I think you will be a great digital artist too. For example if you spent more time on your environment studies, though they are still rather nice, be great to see some more refined ones Keep it up!
