    give it to me now!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, I’m still pretty new to the whole thing but I’ve been practicing on some painting to get myself up to scratch. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The first alien type character is a Temperol; a transcendental wizard/priest as such I actually made a previous version which was terrible! This is one of my first digital paintings…

This guy is a berserker for a barbarian fighting game I’m working on, little to SQUARE? I really like the idea of having a much squatter fighter!

This is a fighter from Gaul.

An Aztec fighter to give the game some colour.

I don’t know how I managed but some how I AVOIDED drawing women all my life lol, so….My first EVER female character. (!)

I like the designs. They might be better with a suggestion of background context. Also they lack coherent lighting and shadowing, and don't look very 3D. There are a few anatomical issues to redress. I'll leave the specifics to others. Also the detail could be a bit sharper, things like the weapon blades look unfinished.

Cool, thanks for the advice, the temperol and berserker where pretty much finished; But your point about background context is certainly something I was thinking of, my intention was more on the design of the character then complete pieces with the intention of making some pieces with the character in action with backgrounds.

I will definitely take on board the comment about the lighting, I was trying to work with 2-3 lights but it’s probably 1-2 too many, lol!

A few of my friends were of the opinion that perhaps the berserker was too short and stocky; but I really liked that characteristic: comments would be appreciated
