Artist turned baker uses knowledge of human anatomy for the powers of evil....

Definitely NSFW, also not safe for lunch hour...

    Article here:

    http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/s...?storyid=43707

Photos of his baked goods here:

    http://www.aboutcolonblank.com/?p=257

Ewww.....but also kinda of cool.Although Im slightly impressed by his use of reference, and attention to detail, though the surface quality of some of his work is slightly distracting and takes away from the form as a whole. He could potentially benefit from a better grasp on oven temperature and glazing techniques.

    Thanks!

BTW, this is completely work-safe, and the dude is an artist. His medium just happens to be bread.

Have you seen what passes for "work-safe" around here?

There is no nudity at this site, just tasty gore. Mmm, now I'm hungry. :-)

Well, Ive always assumed NSFW applied to porn (anything beyond artistic nudity) AND gore (trama, dismemberment, etc.).

The article says that he uses Raisins, Nuts and Chocolate... according to customers... it just tastes like normal bread.

Omg, that's my local news station! I can't believe I didn't see this earlier on TV or anything.

Anyway, those bread sculptures are absolutely amazing, even beautiful....in an entirely creepy way.

No. I wish the bread was local. No, the bread guy lives somewhere in Asia, but for some strange reason my local news was the site reporting it. Maybe they got tired of reporting murders? Who knows...

hahah...that is awesome. I like the head the best but hands hanging on the meat hooks are pretty nifty also.

Before looking I was like really how realistic could they look, I mean it's just bread, then I clicked the link, damn...

    Now THATS impressive shit man, no limitations to what you set your mind to.... maybe, this technique could be used to ween real serial killers off humans and on to dough.... you know, like rehab, or, summink..make a whole human being add jam inside etc etc for full stabbing affect...or, or it could be used for a 'Hostel' role playing games at twisted swingin parties... or when surgery school runs out of cadavers, you can use thse bread bodies as temporary replacements;

oh, Im thinking waaay too much, and not properly either...

I'd like to consider myself a forward thinking and open minded guy. As someone that has worked in law enforcement this is just another format that is contributing to the desensitization of the human race. Controversial? Absolutely. Acceptable? Not if you're trying to get people used to the idea of cannibalization.

    Great topic btw.

    Awesome! I wanna hand sammich!

By the way, those hands are really detailed! If you've ever worked with dough, it's so sticky and difficult to actually sculpt. I wonder if he has created a new kind that's easier to deal with.
