Whats up all
I'm new here. I've been drawing since... well, as long as I can remember.
I don't know how I found this place but I did and so I thought I'd post some stuff here.
Enjoy!

here is some more of my recent work
sorry for the bad quality, i don't have a scanner big enough for these![]()
those cards are sick mate. nice bold posterised images, good use. However, judging from your other drawings, i would say you could work on smoother transition from dark to midtone to highlight, and so on and so forth. seems like your spotting general areas of light and dark, which is great, but then struggling developing tone from that point onwards. unfortunately my minds drawn a blank as to where you can find stuff to read or look at to help you in that department, but its out there somewhere.
anywho, welcome etc, this is a great place, far too many talented peeps more than willing to help others out, and of course a great deal of ridiculously good art to get inspired by, but im sure you already knew that.

here's a lil somethingi did last night before bed
Here I'm practicing some skeletal structure. I took some photos and sketched out the pose, went over the lines with ink and the drew in the skeleton with red marker. On the second one I tool a green marker and drew in what I thought should be fixed in it according to the sketch and the photograph.
crits appreciated
ok, so i'm trying to get a better understanding of the back muscles, it's proven to be more difficult thatn i thought lol
this took me about a half hour
Hey Calis! I know it's been said, but welcome to CA
Spiffy SB...Bones! Muscles! PLAYING CARDS!!!!! (Fer realz, those cards are the hotness.) Just a note: you might wanna do some studies of feet - those first 2 girls from the 2nd post have some footly issues

Hey! Check out my blog here
haha thanx amontillado
here's some more of my stuff
enjoy
Very nice work! Only one thing I'd like to point out- you seem to only have worked from photos and a bit of imagination in that last one. You should try working from life! Photos are a bit of a crutch in that everythings already put there in two dimensional form. You should get used to converting 3D to 2D yourself.![]()

but, i'll have all that plus plenty of models once i go back to school so i'll be working on that
amontillado: thanx dude, appreciate it, i tried to incorporate as many things from the movie as i could in this lol
so yeah, i haven't posted in a while and thought "hey, i got a few minutes free, so lets post"
i haven't gotten much work done because of my new job, i work in a lowe's distribution center now, 10 hour days of walking and lifting, killer stuff, plus i have to be up at 430 am every day
