so here is my newest painting.
here is another rome painting:
feel free to leave a comment.
and one more.
What do you think is the right size for this type of watercolour paintings.
and one more:
nice, ur watercolors are really beautifull, keep it up^^
Thank you man
Moinsen!
Nice watercolors! The last two are the angel bridge in rome, arent they?
Really nice place, have you been there or painted from photographs?
I would not outline the whole thing, only that in the foreground, while keeping stuff in the background lighter and not outlined.
for example the last watercolor: the castle in the back is having a heavier outline than the bridge in the foreground. it should be the other way around or only the bridge in my eyes.
Yes the last one shows the angel bridge in rome. The other bridge picture is a normal bridge in rome. I don't know it's name.
I was there but this paintings were painted after some of my own photographs.
And on the next pieces I'm gonna try to work without outlines. We'll see how it works.
a new sketch:
I wanted to present some new traditional stuff now. but my computer doesn't accept my scanner anymore ( I don't know why)
So here is some older stuff:
It's a poster design for a little soccer tournament in my youth group (KSJ).
Hey there! Thanks for commeting on my SB.I like your Star Wars and building pics. I can't grasp watercolors, I tried once and it was too hard. It's nice to see you doing lots with that medium.
I think having more contrast would help. Try doing some darker shadows. Keep 'em coming.
really nice to see the progress and i really like the aquarell pictures of brushes in the beginning of the thread. it is also good that you try different stuff like cars, humans, landscapes etc.
keep on rocking and thanks for the reply in my SB !
17 years?!? Well done! I see a great potential in you, keep it up!

Not happy with his jacked.
Teen Challenge 48:
nice water colors, though on some of the buildings it seems like you should pay more attention to their features not jsut the features of the building you want to capture the most. as illustrations they are nicely composed and have a good feel to them. Some of the color seem like one could pop more than the others, just a little exaggeration you know? to really get that pow kinda feeling. But also the spqr on the lamp post and all, im sure it didnt just look like that. really take the time to make it look the exact way, not like photo real because i know the feeling you are going for, but something more relative to the material that is being used (metal in that case im sure, or stone) over all good water colors though, seems like something you like doing
Hey man! Jogi´s mouth is too wide
I would also try to work more with light and shadow to give the face more shape and depth. Also try to avoid black as a color for shadows, makes it feel dirty somehow.
Keep it going!
Hi TLL. What lovely watercolor paintings and those old car sketches are awesome!!!
As for some critique. Jogi Löw water color look's nice but try to get some stronger values it'll help you make it look more realistic and 3D. I'm not experienced with watercolors so I don't know how easy or hard it is...
Really like all the color worlds you put into your watercolor paintings. Also great figure studies and love the landscapes.
Like your style and can't wait to see more stuff.
