Pencils made from human ash. (http://www.nadinejarvis.com/projects/carbon_copies) I can definitely see someone from CA doing this.

Pencils made from the carbon of human cremains. 240 pencils can be made from an average body of ash - a lifetime supply of pencils for those left behind.

I chew pencils... would that count as cannibalism?

It's fairly interesting, but nothing new nor novel. After all, we've been making diamonds and other jewelry out of dead people and human waste for a while. We've even been making paving slabs out of human waste. Personally I don't wanna be a pencil.

To be blunt I just don't think it's anything all that great (sorry, couldn't resist).

Heheheh. "I will kill you! Then make you into pencils... draw your face... then ERASE YOU!"

I was thinking of the irony of drawing from life... from a dead person.

Maybe you get the artistic skill of the dead person.
*everybody gets ready like an angry mob to massacre Marko, DSillustration etc etc!*

When I'm dead, I want to be made into pencils and auctioned off for an absurd amount of money, that will be spent on my absurdly lavish private mausleum. :)

It's there some law against this kind of doing with human remains?

I think it's pretty cool anyways.

Wow... is... is this even legal? O_o; Kind of interesting, though. It's legal if the families of known people sign papers and it's legal if you buy unidentified remains from hospitals. I think.

I don't wanna be a pencil.

That would be a great line to scream in some dystopian sci-fi where people are compressed to make pencils.

- I DON'T WANNA BE A PENCIL!
I'm sorry, there is no other way.
- NOOOOOOO!

Anyhow. Pencils made from human remains. No-one's ever gonna draw a cartoon penis with one of those.

Call0ps: scary != illegal

It's kind of a cool way to give back to the community. That, even in death, you are still contributing to art and creation. But, yeah, the erasing thing had me thinking, I have to admit.
