Hello everyone, this is my first post here :)
(Hope I'm posting it in the right section)

I'm modelling a polytree now but I can't get somewhat realistic branches...

I work w/ maya,
any suggestions on how to get realistic looking branches?

Thanks for replying, but I read it and it doesnt really explain how to create realistic branches. And also the branches have to be 3d and not a texture map...
Anyway, again thanks for replying :)

The only thing to tell you then is to get a picture of a tree. Set up a poly limit for your self and start extruding.

Nothing else to it, unless you use a plug-in.

I thought about that too, but I have to make pictures of a tree from two sides so I can use 2 image planes then and I'm not really able to make them properly.
Do you maybe know a site with pic's of trees that are taken from two sides?
