n Xanadu did Kubla Khan
A stately pleasure-dome decree:
Where Alph, the sacred river, ran
Through caverns measureless to man
Down to a sunless sea.

Kicek: Maybe my favorite piece here. Wonderful feel and mood. Great lighting. Only crit is, that the dome seems kind of like an afterthought - "oops, I need to include the dome - ah, there, that'll do" :) Great piece never the less!
Larkin2: I sure like it - it has a real esacpist quality... a fantasy world! I think the mounatin wall behind the dome could use some work. It's kind of muddy right now.
Corrick: Man, this would easily be my favorite if youd hadn't neglected the bottom part of the image. The water right now is unfinished. I'm not even sure what the speckled things are in the hole.
Alright, I like your three pieces the best - my vote goes to Kicek!
yadam: I sure like that you went sci-fi with it! With a few hours more work it could be a strong piece!

Voted for Larkin2. Amazing dreamlike quality, and I definitely got the sense of endless caverns. Very nice, a place I'd want to go to...
Main Loop - I dug this one too, but for some reason it was a tad flat... maybe the color scheme did it. Your dome was the stateliest of all of them.
Kicek - It was close on this one, or rather, this set. While I give you serious respect for owning everyone with your skills, I liked your second WIP the best.
guillemhp - That is some wickedly good waterfall action. Open up the composition a little, let us see the grand scope of it... and watch the over-saturated grain texture in the sky.
yAdam - Yes, the futuristic approach is very much cool, and I like the design. This suffered from a total lack of color though...
Beelow - The dramatic lighting and angles are kick ass.
Devilmonkey - Very cool panoramic composition, truly shows the scale of the concept. It could use a little more time refining the image though...
Nice round of entries in this one. Can't wait to see what's next.
dragon4lunch - Thanks! Yes, the lower half is a bit vague, but it's funny, I wasn't going to put anything in the hole at all. "Sunless = dark" and all that. Figured I'd try for a phosphorescent glow, but it could do with some work...

I didn't expect this round to go so well. The EOW is rising. Great job to all the participants. yAdam, with more time spent, that's a source of power.
Keep doing you

voted Corick
Corick: u got my vote allthough I wish u constructed the eliptic shapes of the dome. They dont realy have the same center thus they look a little of. Lighting is right on the money:)
Beelow: If only you had finished it. Better composition then Corick's
Devilmonkey: CA is a great place to learn, read tutorials, draw draw draw draw and ... aaaa ... draw:D Keep at it.
yAdam: cool but not a great as a composition. Cant see to much.
guillemhp: nice atmosfeer but not a winner. Try more detailes, sometimes the detailes count most.
Larkin2 , Kicek: very nice, close aaaa seconds ... aaa... that cant be right, you know what I mean. Realy cool but Corick's lighting caught my eye, sorry:))
