Hello Leiana,
Yes, I will be setting aside time for drawing a total of one self-portrait per day. Or attempting to do so, at the very least. :)

Oh wow, thanks for the warm welcome, guys. 8) Personalized picture and everything.

Soja: I agree. Though, I'm not sure how well keeping each other accountable over the net will work.. Haha, ah well. It's gotta help alittle.

That looks very accurate -especially the hair, but I would love to see what you can do with simpler lines (me being a fan of simplicity and all). Just a thought ;>

Alright, Leiana. :) My next portrait will be with simpler lines.

But for now..

Self Portrait #5
Drawn from observation & imagination

I hope those are simple enough, Leiana. =) I have a hard time drawing anything simpler than that, as I like to pay close attention to details.

The last one is nice. Only few values but the form is really clear.
Keep it up!

I agree! I love simple, and you got simpler than I thought you would ;> I was like that when I started with a tablet a *ahmm* year ago. (you'd think i could use it better by now)

But seriously, you're already really good. Whereabouts do you live? ;o

Sorry no portraits for the past two days. I've been spending the majority of my time hanging out with friends, and drawing portraits of other people. I promise I'll have one tomorrow, though. ;)

Hi Leiana,
Thank you for the encouraging comment. :) I live in Missouri, USA. Why do you ask?

Cause I'm getting a sketch group around me together, but I'm in Baltimore, MD. I'm also sorry about the no sketches recently, but I have been so overworked. I work at T-Mobile, and I'm working my butt off just to get my commissions ;<. I want a new job :<

like em
really good specially
specially that onehttp://www.starkrafter.com/images/Self%20Portrait%20%233.gif

concerning digital, scinncolour is not all too believable, kinda too orange. Try having only one spot with white/ and pure black.
am curious about the next 980 or so
am sure the'll be awesome

that's why andrew jones is a HERO... because he had this unbieliveable source of inspiration, power and had achieved this... I bet he never found an excuse not to do it.. He just DID IT... and for that he will be inspiring people to push oneself harder... too bad you didnt manage to go for it... you should try tho .. goodluck to you )

Spent- Love number 3.

Did you darken the pupils of the eyes? It's realy effective.

Don't like the colour one so much, it seems a bit garish, bright. Mind you if you live in california things might actually be that colourful for you, over here in Blighty nothing's that clean.

Dont kill yourself over the one a day thing. We can be patient.
