Hey, I do hope everyones looking forward to christmas(or other applicable holiday season)!

Since Ive had a pretty tough last 2 years with lack of money, having to work yet another life-force draining job(making 2 and a weekend job), moving back in with the folks and generally just sucking at life Ive decided to treat myself to some new materials and supplies :)

What Im looking for are some recomendations on products from you guys/girls.

Im not the greatest artist by any means, in fact im still struggling with anatomy and form, but I think some shiny new art supplies will kick things into gear and give me a bit of a boost.

Ive been spending ALOT of time on anatomy, form, and generally drawing from life using pencil(standard wooden of various types), charcoal, and pen(biro, fountain pen, felt tip) so Im not very advanced as mediums go.

My love has to be comic book art and illustrations, you really cant beat a nice comic. Though I havent even begun to delve into drawing in this style(I want to get my anatomy to a level im happy with)

Basically Im after something(s) to take me from simple pencil drawings through to the next stages, what can you sugest? :yayca:

I like waterbased color inks for comic-ish work, they are bold and you can mix them so in the end you need less colors than with markers.

The ones I own are ecoline but I'm sure there are other brands that work.

Thanks for that, Ive looked into inks before but my local art store charges around 3 times that for their inks. Do you know of a site that will ship to the UK or possibly UK based?
What would be a good ink to use for linework?

Also what paper would you recomend for use with inks?

Thanks loads for the help :yayca:
