Is there any way to have digital watercolor not dry when closing a file? I tend to never have a solid block of time to work, so I never finish a piece I start on right away. But with the digital watercolor (which I love) I end up having to not close whatever picture I'm working on, sometimes for days. Don't like leaving a pic up for days on end ;). Plus if the computer crashes, or freezes while using another app, then it's dried anyway.

Sounds like you're using Painter 8.

The problem of automatically dried Digital Watercolor was fixed in Painter IX (IX 9.1 and IX.5).

Upgrade if you want that problem solved as there is no way to keep Digital Watercolor wet when saving, closing, and reopening the file in Painter 8.

Hmmn, I'm definately using Painter 9. I have the patch (upgrade?) also. Does anyone else have this problem?

Ah, I figured it out, I usually save as a psd, since I tend to go back and forth. As a riff it's fine. Thanks!
