I have painter 7 Educational purchase
My program wont allow me to create custom palletes or functions HELP

Hi Davis_C,

To create a custom palette from the brush palette drawers for example, simply drag a drawer icon from the brush palette and drop it onto your desktop. As you drag the icon, you should see a faint dotted border which changes to a copy of the original icon contained within a new custom palette. The new palette should have 'custom...and a number after it.' This custom palette can then be expanded and more drawers etc added in the same way.

The functions are assigned from the menu bar> window> custom palette> add command. If you are already doing all this and without luck, then you could try a clean reinstall of the Painter application or contact Corel directly.
