as you said, colors are strong but i think that it needs some depth, it seems a bit to plain right now, but with some smal corrections i think you can give it some more depth.
i want that fish to stand out more than it does, maybe there's to much going on around it?

Very nice. Too much dodge though up in that left corner shining down. I know it is supposed to be sunlight shining down through the water, however, I think that it is too high of a dodgetool usage. Maybe put a blue layer over it and then go from there to see what else can be done to understate the light a bit. Not alot, just a little, I think it would make that beautiful fish "pop" more. :)
