Is there a way to find out what game development companies offer internships? I'm currently going to college in California and I would love some real world experience and a chance to get my foot in the door. The only company I am currently aware of is EA Games. Any help into this matter would be very much appreciated. Thanks :teeth:

Best way to find out is to check the cpmpany websites and to email them. I've gotten responses back before. Just know that not every company is going to respond or post their intern positions.
Also, check if your college has some sort of notification. I attend SCAD and our Career Services department sends out emails almost daily on employment and internship opportunities.

Contacting companies and asking them would be the best way to find out for sure. I'll second what Taco said: not all intern positions will be posted. Companies tend to look for interns close to home, so that relocation isn't an issue. For this and other reasons, they may not post a message on their website that will get the attention of people who live across the country.
