Hi guys

Thanks for all the positive feedback so far, i thought i'd post up first three pages of my first comic (actually it's page 1,2 and 4). This my first stab at sequentials, so still playing with style and ways to capture what i have in my pin ups here. but i'm getting there.

This due out in september from the guys over at MWM

www.monkeyswithmachineguns.com

their first issue is getting rave reviews and sure this one will be ven better. anyway they were very gracious in giving me 9 pages of their comic.

so heres Hunch story by Chris Lynch art by me.

let me know what you think

I think they have some very good composition. Maybe the zombie guys could use some more color? not the cliché green or something, but maybe a little bit of some color could help out. Other than that, great stuff!

Totally awesome style, I love it!
I can't really figure out what's going on exactly, but I really like how you blend two different situations using the same composition.

My guess is that the guy with the big head is imagining everyone else as zombies and he's the hero, while in reality he's just some big-headed freak, weirding everyone out.

Then again, I may be totally wrong... it seems like a fun premise to me though :)

Even though I can't tell what's happening it looks like an interesting story. I like the ambiguity and the 2nd page especially looks great. Unique style, and it's working well on this comic.

I love that I can go into a comic store and see this kind of work, now.

Cheers.

Yeah, seemed pretty self-explanatory to me. Which is a very good sign, since a hallmark of good storytelling is that the basic narrative comes through even without words.
I especially like the subtle benday screens on the "fantasy" panels. Nice way of differentiating the two.
