I really dig this bot! Nice jeeaorb, there Mr. See!
I imagine this to be a sortuv helper bot to some scientists doing research... A more real-life kinduv application - or at least a more benign one - than most bots. There's just something very believable and very practical about this fella to my eyes.
Any plans to aminate? I wanna see how well it walks! I wanna see it helping out at the Observatory, or wherever... interacting with the local dog, and so on...
This is an awesome little bot, and an outstanding way to introduce yerself! Good work, sir!:chug:
p.s. Maybe a little sticker here or there warning! about laser or whatever... stuff you'd find on your cd player or other electronic equipment? I really dig what appear to be subtle imperfections in the texture... very realistic! Also, finally, maybe you should come up with a little logo for yourself that looks corporate that you could stamp on creations such as this... ok, done. cheers from the peanut gallery!:nana

I like the feeling of this bot, sorta heavy, slow mover. The chrome looks great!

william b.hand:thanx for the compliments
hmm..actually i did this for a modelling class..thought of making it move though but the schedule for the coming term will be very packed.u r right..its actually a transport helper bot for a scientist.:)thanx alot for the logo idea.
sic1:thanx for the comment..hmm.yeah..it looks heavy but i'm not sure about how much it weight though:)haha..yes its kinda slow mover..
thanx again

i think it's super-cool - it reminds me of a friendly version of that weird dog robot from that Val Kilmer Mars movie - Red Planet maybe? Very cool, very pro design - nice work!

thanx for the kind word adam:)i haven't seen that movie though..gotta check that out..whats the name of the movie..?
William b. Hand

The name of the movie is "Red Planet". It's not a great movie, but it's got some decent things about it... namely the robot, AMEE, which you will totally dig. Your bot is vaguely similar only in its single cam head and uniform, circular, extremities. I don't think it's really derivative, though. You should rent the movie just for the robot FX, it's really one of the strongest movie bots to date, no doubt. I looked for a link to give you a good shot of AMEE, but everything I found was tiny and crappy.
Workin' on anything else lately?

how cool!!
An inorganic design is wonderful.
My parents' home is carrying out metalworking.
It is just like that of the motor seen at the junk yard as a child.
It is very impressive work.:chug:

hey Goo~ thanx for the comment.the textures is actually a shader downloaded from net.i tried certain shaders adjusting it from the multilister but ddin't fit what i really wanted..thought the mech would look better if its textured with chrome metal look just like the naboo space craft:)

your design reminds me of the walker from Attack of the Clones. I imagne the same sound effects for its movement. Hope you can make more. Great job.

Well, right off the bat, the shadow is totally wrong. Also, the reflections don't seem to be of this environment...
The scale is very different from what I'd expected... Is this how big you always imagined it?? The resolution of this image is pretty bad... what happened there? Lens flare is overused and irksome, and in this instance I think it's very distracting.
Overall, I gotta say I'm not a fan of this environment and I don't think the robot is believably connected to it.
Sorry it's not a more positive reaction.:(
I still really like this bot, and I think it would be worthwhile to find an entirely different setting for it. ... Thus this somewhat caustic appraisal.

William's absolutely right!!!
This cool robot deserves a much better environment...you can't do this to your robot...
