does anyone whats happening with team fortress 2? last i heard they scrapped the hl engine and were building their own, but the site doesnt say anything about it

vaporware, according to everything2.com is:
'Products announced far in advance of any release (which may or may not actually take place).'
Tf2 is one of the most famous vaporware.. there's a duke nukem game that's 'still in development' *shrug*
