I've been taking a break from art for about 6-7 months, mainly to focus on learning about music making, but have lately not been able to resist the temptation of doing some. Now I'm back in town, it's soo damn fun to be drawing and painting again. I'm 17 years old, soon 18. Not sure whether I'll go for music or art in university and after high school but I'll wait and see. Music would probably be an easier thing to make a career out of, not that it's easy, but in comparison with concept art that's supposedly a modern version of slavery. Not that it'd totally kick ass, but I dunno. i'll see what the future has in store.

really need all the critique and advice i can get, i desperately want to improve. Treat me rough! :needle:

Nice start on the studies dude..the squatters face turned out pretty nice as well, but the arms and legs could use some more work. Keep posting. =)

been studying anatomy and proportions like a bitch.. mainly general figure proportions and arm muscles.. nothing worth uploading really, but i just did this doodle based on what ive learnt

Nice sketch digitals, I like your environments and scapes. The figure in the tall grass looked great too. Have you done any still lifes? Used charcoal or conte crayon?
