Yo *waves lots*

Here are some self portraits all done in the mirror; I have a real problem with drawing from photos... Most of you can relate. So here goes -

Black Prismacolor pencil; 2 hours in front of the mirror; harsh lighting (won with honerable mention in recent student art show)

Charcoal; 20 minutes in front of the mirror; I like getting charcoal-y and gritty. ^_^

Drawing myself makes me nervous, but hey, there ya go.

Critique iffin' ya wanna.

I'm audi.

Hi Sarah. I am actually drawn more to the charcoal one personally. I have this thing for high contrast. I'm not sure exactly though what the black marks under the chin are. I'm not sure if looks realistically like the shadow under the chine would be. Usually you get a little highlight in the divet under your nose with the lighting in that position. Otherwise, I really like them.

Yeah, I get that - the charcoal one was only done in 20 minutes; it was more or less a study of "Hey, how quickly can I acurately draw myself? Huh? HUH??" I guess I found out, hahaha -

The lighting was screwy so I got a lot of weird shadows - dunno. *shrugs* That's what I thought too. Thanks for the feedback, man ^_^
