Rating sytem?

I was wondering, how does this rating sytem work? In my profile it shows half a star for points in posting activity. Not really sure if thats "my" activity, or activity on my thread in general. Who determines the rating? What do i have to do to work my way up?
Anyway i'd like to know where i'm at so i know how much work i have yet to do. This is my best source for contacts and feedback about the industry at the moment. I see some really awesome stuff in here so i know i have alot to do but this is the first place i'v eever seen with any sort of rating system. It sounds like it could be really awesome if i could just figure it out. Please help!

I think you're talking about "activity points" on 3.0. You get those for being active (while your post count is only for number of posts on the forum). No one is rating you with that, it's only a reflection of how much you do on 3.0.

So, log in, then go take a BM, make a smoothy, do some jumping jacks, and then sing the alphabet song a couple times and check how your activity points have skyrocketed.
