Cannot use any colors except Grays and Black!!

Hey there!

I'm the new owner of a wonderful Intuos3 tablet and it's sexy! I don't mean that I make love to it at night, but it's so precise and easy to use, it should be illegal!

Anyhoo, I started sketching with it and now, I want to try coloring with it, but I can't! Whenever I try to pick a color, say, RED, it turns into Gray. I go in the channels and there's only one and it says GRAY!

How do I make it so I can still use colors?!

Sounds like you're stuck in GRAYSCALE mode. Go up to your menu and see what MODE you're in. For color, it should be RGB or CMYK or anything other than Grays or bitmap... If that's the case, just switch to RGB mode.
