...or something like that.

The thing is I made this preliminary sketch in PS for a children book cover and now I tried to send it to the customer but the colors get all funky when I save
it as jpeg. I tried both, Save As... AND Save for Web and both gave me the same result. Jpg shouldn´t murk the colors now should it? A screencapture first
of the file (Untitled-1 on top is the original and underneath you see what Save for Web gives me) and then of my color settings. I have sRGB 8bit as color profile
BOTH in PS and in the picture so profile mismatch shouldn´t be the problem. No CMYK-problems here either since it´s all RGB. But as you can see in the first picture, the JPG is much more desaturated and pale...

Damn, help me out. It has worked before but now something is wrong...

ummm... the only thing I can think of is the "Desaturate monitor colors by: 20%"
option but I see it's not checked....

Waitasec... if you're saving for web, it optimizes by using Web-safe colors only... that would do it, wouldn't it?

Well is shouldn´t be that since I also saved it with Save As... with the same result.

And yes, the Desaturate cross-check is not checked.

hmmm.... I dunno... I tested it out on my machine and I don't get that...
if you right-click on the "Save for web" preview window, are you viewing it using restricted colors (although that shouldn't affect how Save As works, I know...)
