Newbie, need help

Ok, I'm new to this site. I've always come here to look as a guest, but I just recently became a member, and I don't know how to do anything. I just started workin in photoshop and I would like to post some of my first tries, but I don't know how. If anyone could help me out, and give me the run through with this site and what are some good forums to go to for a beginner and that sort of stuff, I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.

Probably the best place to start is the "Digital painting in PS" thread in here.

Absorb everything. Don't just skip over the reading and just look at the pics.

as for putting your photos and such on here, use "www.photobucket.com" you have to register but it's free and whatnot, just copy and past the url

I think there's a size requirement or something, I'm not sure but I just do 800 by 800 or smaller

I just recently started doing digital images with photoshop mostly scanning in my own drawings and then rendering them in Photoshop. If you've gotten some good feed back let me know.
