Just out of curiosity Andrew, if you don't mind, what infliuenced the lastest two portraits?

Also are you using the watercolor tool to get that "liquidy" feel for the background texturing here?

The eyes in this one are the best part of it for me. =)

in the bottom right corner there are a few horizontal lines with some circles in them, they bother me because they look some what like fingers but don't appear to represent them.

oh well maybe i'm just being a bastage.

the hair and the mouth especially grab my attention. i can't quite figure out why, but they do. the areas with clustered detail are also extremely nice.

hed|lamb/Deth Jester - they were influenced be every moment of my life that came before them, bullshit anwser huh? this was sparked by images I recently sawof how diferent cultures around the world celebrateing thier spirituality through art. these portrait are a very important part of my spiruaility as an artist. yesterday I was concentrating on the good, the beauty,the love and energy that surrounds us. it was a bit idealistic and only adressed one aspect of the wavelength, I made this portrait to balance that out, it is about death, decay, fear.

yes painter 7 watercolor too has a wonderfull tendancy to create organic and unpredictable shapes and forms, much of the backgroung was built out of that chaos.

davi- wow I didnt notice or intend that at all very interesting, if I would have noticed them as fingers I would have liked to develop them in that direction, that is one example of what kind of dreams are born in chaos, painter 7 is the most chaoitic digital tool I have ever used. and it offers so much control too.

xnku the image is a little busy but thats one of the things I liked about it
