Hello there. I'm still a little new here, but I wanted to show two of my self portraits. Sadly, I no longer have the photo the first was drawn from, however I do have the photo from the second.
This one was drawn at the end of 2002, graphite on rag paper:

And this one was finished about 2 months ago, and was completely fingerpainted with black acryllic paint:

I've done some more work on this one, made the eyes not-retarded, as well as changed how the hair falls. I still have to take a photo of how it looks now.

Any thoughts? Ideas? Any tips for a still-beginning artist?
