Hey, i am starting to prospect colleges at a young age (15) and so far the closest one to me and the best so far may be Mcad. I might join them in a few years, hoping that my skills get better. So i was wondering how is that college? Can anyone give me insight into what they do? and anyone who went there on this forum or is a renowned artist?

btw i live in MN which is why its closest.

thanks.

Hey, I just finished my freshman year at MCAD. It was tough at first but once I got the hang of being an art student everything went great.
I love MCAD. They are strict on attendence so make sure you can get up to go to class everyday. The studio classes are 5 hours long which is tough to get use to but you really need that time to get things done. The administration is the only problem I have had, they can be a little flakey and it gets annoying but I belive it's still worth it. The teachers know what they are talking about and they will teach you everything you could ever want to know.
All in all, MCAD is full of great people and worth every penny.
I hope this helps you out, if you want to talk more about MCAD feel free to catch me on AIM. (SN is in my profile)
