The HRNS Zoolander was built in orbit and never designed for atmospheric flight, considering this, Maj. Derek Stiller did an outstanding job when he had to crash land his ship, after a miscalculation caused her to enter Gionysus 3's gravity pull.

Thought I'd whack in some textures today...
Probably about 40 mins PS. Perspective's off, but hey, it's a sketch.

Weee, been meaning to start doing DSG again and now seems as good a time as any.

Fairly quick pencils and photoshoppery while on MSN.

Comments and the like always verily appreciated, I've really got no idea what I'm doing :).

Hah, how can you make a zoolander reference and NOT get that reference.

"What is this? A center for ants? How can we be expected to teach children to learn how to read if they can't even fit inside the building? "

bobthedinosaur: Was this inspired by Homeworld? :) I really like the composition.

Hamsta: I have to admit I didn't see the derelicte reference until you mentioned it! haha

aico003: Your drawing skills are pretty decent, for now I think you should focus more on your painting skills. Not saying I'm experienced though...

Here's my submission. I tried to keep the coloring in the style of Giger's paintings... it turned out "meh". I spent more time on the sketch, and just set the color layer to "multiply" instead of painting the whole thing. Comments appreciated...

dindon - I see that you put some linework, not bad

Thank ye verily for the comment. Heh, my painting skills have always been quite miserable.. Also I'm slightly colourblind. Definitely gonna work at it though and maybe keep it a bit cleaner in the meantime.

Kudos all around, very nice works peoples.

Little late on the whole "daily" thing, but only because I've just joined. This is my first submission and my first digital piece in a really long time.
