hello all, long time no post-
All you anatomy masters please give me some good crits (I like the proportions, but not all the anatomy) and let me know what you think.

Looks pretty nice, especially the head.
The anatomy is good, I think..
Maybe the back, I hope you don't mind that I took that picture :) :

The second should be right :)
And thanks for that wings3d link, seems to be an interesting thing.

Great front with those muscles! Maybe define the part of the rib-cage that is visible a bit more ?
Very cool!
So this Wings3d is good to model in? What poly-tools does it have?

thanks guys.
cucaracha - I appreciate the paintover, the back is something that definitely didnt seem right to me. All the overlapping muscles and the complex shapes in the scapula are hard to get right. I will work on that and post a bit more soon.
erik - wings3d is great! i dont know if you are familiar with nendo at all, but it is the "little brother" of mirai (the prog. that gollum was modelled in and that the infamous poly modeller bay raitt uses). both nendo and mirai were discontinued. someone out there got the idea to recreate nendo and then some. wings3d has all the poly tools that nendo has plus many many more. Plus, its free.
the ambient whisper modeling tutorial videos were done in mirai and i have also seen him doing some work in wings3d.

the workflow is great, almost everything is right-click driven, you can make hotkeys for anything
All in all, try wings3d.

Hmm
I tried this Wings 3D and i get in trouble when i have to click on menu's everytime i want to switch from move to rotate to scale... plus the extrude is difficult to locate... perhaps i need to practice more before commenting but my guess is i'll stick with Maya. Please convince me?
