Obligatory Introduction post!

Hello!

My name is Gina Whittam.

I stumbled into this site through various internet links and found the talent here to be impressive!

For quite a while I got depressed and lost direction and motivation for my artwork. At one point, even taking my website (http://www.ginawhittam.com) offline. :( Due to some surprising prodding from an ex (that I don't get along well with) I put the website back online and decided to jerk myself back on track (by force if necessary) and get myself out of this major depression funk. I started doing some online art and forum browsing, which helped to re-inspire and re-motivate me. (and lead me here)

I'm not totally out of my funk, but I'm making a lot of progress and have gotten more work done in the past month than I have in the past year, including a full redesign of my website.

Well, I guess that's a bit of history + introduction.

I hear ya! I too have been out of the loop for some time now, but like you I find this site inspirational and have started drawing again.
