Digital art..

Hello,

I have been scavenging these forums for awhile and admiring everyone's artwork from afar. I have just started getting into art and will soon enough post a sketchbook for everyone to help me improve. But for now, out of curiosity, what does everyone use/prefer while creating digital art? So far I have noticed Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter mentioned. Also, if you have any other programs that you use, name them and tell me why you prefer one program over another. Thank you. :D

I think it's a toss up on photoshop or painter. I personally use painter, but only because I can't seem to make photoshop sing like some of the others do.
