Equalize of colors

Please, could anybody help myself?

I would like to know why the colors alter in the painter 9, once in a while, I still don't know well, when that color alteration happens, if it is when I duplicate the canvas, or when I make some other command, that leaves the colors a little opaque .
Because when I apply CTRL+E = EQUALIZE, the colors are much more alive.
Would I like to know why that color alteration happens, why the colors are opaque?
Will it be that it is because I use different materials as gouache, Oil and pastry, in the same image and for that, does it alter the color?
Or is it when I duplicate the canvas, to give some detail and when I drop that canvas, does he alter the color?

Please, somebody helps meeeee.....

Thanks,

Rod.

Are you talking about how it gets brighter? For example when you use a thick oil brush? If that is what you are talking about them it is the impasto feature of the brush causing it.
