Hey all,

Here's a piece I just finished up for a comic project I'm working on. I'd love to get any feedback you might have. Changes, suggestions, or just whatever your initial reaction might be.

Thanks a bunch!

Hey,
there is some anatomy issues there in the lower body area looks like the legs are the other way around? I'm pretty sure you are aware of it, but i don't get it really...

Heh. :bashful:

It took me a minute to see what you were refering to. You don't notice it so much when its printed, but when you scroll down on the screen and see his legs out of context, it does kinda look like a down shot of the back of his legs.

The way I'm going to be rendering this guy most of the time is primarily a silhouette with some glowy bits. In this shot he's sort of "powering up," so I wanted him to look a bit translucent with energy moving around inside of him.

In this case, looks like I had better throw in some extra highlights on the tops of his feet. Nice catch.

Thanks Haiku!

yeah, its his right foot that looks weird. there is no definition between the top plane and the bottom.
instead of putting more highlights on the top, consider putting a subtle secondary light source (maybe warm) shining up from below his feet.

Thanks for the feedback you guys. I've made some touchups, and I think it may be done now.

And, here's all three covers. I'd love to hear any feedback you guys might have.

not to impede, but maybe try some cropping, crop him from the thighs up that may make it more dynamic than trying to show everything.

I think it looks real solid. I like the cropping your at now, where the whole character is there. Real good light ont he guy. I find nothing "wrong" with your artwork here, keep it up!
