darth massacre

This is the digital age....we all know we need adequate tools to get art created. A trusty computer, good wacom and big screen. On the traditional side we need good paints and brushes, markers, colored pencils and so on.
There are lots of different grades of tools sold on the market...from the really cheap ones to the really out of reach ones.
Just want to remind everyone the most important tool in art....is the artist :bashful:

Amen to darth. No matter how fancy our computers are, how big is our wacom tablet and how expensive our paints and papers are is what's inside each one of us thats make the masterpiece. I bet Leonardo DaVinci would've made a masterpiece with a wornout toothbrush.. :yayca: ::hats out to darth::

actually, a tooth brush is a badass tool to use =) try it out. In fact I had an assignment which was to paint with anything but a brush, and I found some interesting results with a piece of flint and a shoe =)

I agree, Optimus. I use a toothbrush (not the one I use to brush my teeth ;)) when I want to do spatter effects. Works so much better than tapping the paint brush. But I haven't used it as the only prush on a painting. Thanx for the idea! Maybe I'll take your advice and when I'm done I'll post it.. :confident
