Doesn't any company want an anime style artist anymore?
Of course, i see job listings sometime on the forum, but they don't seem to like my style, i have too much bad luck with this. :vodkamachine:

I guess its harder to find a job or internship if you dont got decent connections, if anyone knows a good company that likes anime in the new jersey, that would help a lot. :frustrated:

I need to win the lottery or something...

In all honesty bro...
You need to become more versatile...being a strictly Anime artist is gonna get you very few jobs...

I mean you can stick with it, but definately develop new tricks...

Theres always self publishing or (more reasonably) starting an internet comic (Anime style ones are really starting to pick up nowadays). Even if you don't make money on it, if you do a decent job with it, you may catch more companies attention.

Look here, you win this contest and you get your chance...

But in all seriousness....from what i gather about the artistic based industry, it's either evolve or die...

Look into broadening your horizons...nothing but good things can come of it...
I personally wanted to be a Joe Mad clone(he's still the man)...but i realized you need to develop your own voice...

And there is only soo many anime based jobs...

koroshiya001 - I was think about that with this bunny you see here, have a weekly comic of it dying all the time, there is like a 1% chance it can be more loved then the damn yellow sponge!! if i did do the comic, it would be humor based, hey, i'll e-mail ya when i start one someday, since you brought it up.

bRyaN - yeah it does kind of suck that anime is moving up slowly and all, for me though. I'll keep that in made, you remind me of one of my friends that said the samething >:| . I recently got struck with ideas on drawing monsters and machines, i'll post them up when i get done.
For the site you gave me, it would be cool to try out for it, but unfortunately, I have a other plans, like the important thing an art student does, finishing my portoflio ( also the rules state that having extreme violence and blood is disqualifying. ), i can't wait to get a chance and show off my finished work.
