Beautiful shots! :O
The sun is so BIG! How much zoom were you using?
The ravine is nice too, too bad the sky is so blown out. I like the texture on the ruins.

Thanks! :)

It was a 10x zoom. The only thing i'm not happy about with these is if you zoom in on the radiating sun glow, the colours look a bit segmented, would that be the camera or me?

what do you mean by blown out? I wish i had my fuji when i took this shot, the kodak i used was less than 1 megapixel so anything larger than A3 size and it looks pixelated as all hell!

I think that would be the camera, the light in the middle of the sun is so strong so it all just looks white. The camera cant capture the range of such a strong light and capture the rest of the picture with good exposure at the same time.

What I mean is that again the camera cant capture the range of the light from the sky, so it all looks plain white. My digital camera does that aswell. :S One solution for it is to use a polarisation filter, it works sometimes and makes the sky a bit bluer.

They're beautiful. That second one is magnificent <3
The colours and the contrast of light are really nice in that one.

Morbid - Now i getcha. When you say polarization filter, to you mean on the camera or computer?
Nudnik - Thanks :) Took about 30 shots of the sunrise all up, those 3 were prob the best.
