Anybody in the immediate Toronto area looking to get together as a group for sketching, lifedrawing or just discussions? It would be great to get a little group going where we can help mentor each other and be a ready source of inspiration and motiation.

I'm from good' ol' Rochester, across the lake. If they ever get the goddamned ferry up and running, and knock the ticket prices down to something less than like $50 a person, then maybe I'll stop up there sometime.

Man, I dunno how much news coverage that thing is getting up there, but it is the biggest debacle EVER over here. That's all the local news is talking about. What's gonna happen next with the freakin' ferry. I mean, the thing went bankrupt in a matter of months. How in hell do they intend to actually make a profit on the thing? I know there's not a line forming at the toronto dock, of people itching to come over here. Believe you me, there's NOTHING to do here.

Um...so...

Drawing, and...

Yeah.

Could be lot's of fun.

I'm totally up for it, I tried to set up something similar in art school, but didn't go, that's before the internet was big.

I'm definately up for it. I've been out of art for awhile, this will definately give me inspiration.

We have a few options for sketching .
Friday night ROM , wednesday night AGO or even Eaton centre .

Sanby
April 25th, 2005, 02:00 PM
Well, I should be able to make any of those, once school is over. It shuld be easy enough to subway around the city. I could possibly make friday nights while school is still taking place.

BTW, what is AGO?

Who else is interested, and can possibly make one of these times? Or maybe suggest another location/time

I'll be living in Toronto and going to school @ Max The Mutt!

I'm definitely up for a sketch group. Hit a park or something.

Whatever life drawing classes are available, I want to get in on too. I went to a weekly one when I was living in Ottawa but out here in Kananaskis, I have no such luck!

Has anyone gone to the Mississauga Valley school of art's open life drawing class on Monday nights. 7:00pm-10:00pm $7.00

I was thinking of trying it this coming Monday. Like i mentioned earlier,I used to go to the one at the Toronto school, but they lit the model from ten different angles so it got very frustarting at times. I was wondering if this place was any better.

Hello fellow Torontoians!

I am fairly new here (Conceptart) and must confess that I work in 3D not in drawings but I do know of a cool little place in the East End (on Carlaw between Dundas and Queen). It is called Artists' Play Studio Theatre... It is a dance/pefromance studio. So mostly the artists to go there are performance orientated but they had this cool “drawing in motion” session. Not very many could come on a regular basis so now they do it by private sessions they charge about $70 and that includes the space dancer/model for a “sitting”. (also for those who have been pissed off with lighting they are equipped with theatre lights, you can request if you want it lit from the side, top, front or whatever it is up to the group! If we could get a group of 7 or so that would be really reasonable.

Contact info is 416-465-8615 or check out the space @ www.artistsplay.com

Any takers?

Dammit, why doesn't my avatar show?

In the new year I'm going to force myself to start drawing (and more importantly, finishing) on a regular basis, in addition to whatever COW/ChOW stuff I'll get into. Eventually I want to do some life drawing again, as my sense of the human body is pretty ... awful. I'll probably just start with some people-watching and then sign up for some night or weekend sessions.

Niggle
December 20th, 2005, 02:32 AM
Don't know about your Avatar.

I totally understand, generally I'm a 3d gal and drawing isn't my strongest point. It's always good to have something to work on... But sculpting is really what I want to work on so life drawing isn't really on the top of the list I just thought there would be more interest (you know with ALL the artists that live here). I happened upon Calgary's group and for "a nonartistic-based, right wing conservative city" the artists there have all ready gotten together to work... weird.

Toronto people here definitely need to meet up.

Right now I meet with some friends and other artists on Fridays at the Toronto School of Art, as Dan said, the lighting is annoying, but its the nearest place I can go to.
I also go to the Toronto Subway Sketch group organized by Bobby Chiu. We meet at the Union Station subway every Sunday at 3:20 and sketch people in the trains.
This thread seems to die every month or so, we gotta find a good way to keep in contact and organize something to meet and work.

Just adding my review of The Gladstone Hotel's Wednesday night life drawing drop-in (http://www.401richmond.net/gladstone/event-show.cfm?id=1453).

Positives:
- you're allowed to bring beer in the room (hotel's bar is just next door)
- good amber lighting, no flourescent
- round pub style tables (good for 1 person)
- red brick wall as backdrop
- not too far from downtown core; about 15 minutes from the CityTV building via TTC streetcar (Queen St. W.)
- tonight's female model is good; good Rubenesque physique, good poses (some with pole as prop), her strong facial features are excellent for portraits; I missed the gestures sessions so I can't comment.
- $7 for two hours

Minuses:
- tight quarters; you'll have to come in early if you want a chair and table; I had to sit on the floor
- no easels provided, let alone elbow space for such;
- room functions as projector room too, so some views might be obstructed by speaker equipment
- weird washroom/restroom arrangement; you'll see, if you ever go there
- longest pose for the rest of the night was 7 minutes, so beware if you prefer longer times

Other impressions:
- lesbian front desk clerk
- tonight's sketchers made up of old hippies and students; fairly equal in number between male and female

Add yet another person to the "Toronto resident list". On Sunday I went to the life drawing session at the Toronto Art School (http://www.tsa-art.ca/). They had two rooms going one with a male model, the other with a woman. Fee was a modest seven dollars for two and a half hours and I would definitely recommend it to others. I can't say I have the most experience in regards to judging the quality of life drawing models but the guy certainly seemed good. Very worthwhile. I may have to check out the Gladstone Hotel as well, as I'd like to be doing it a couple times a week. Maybe I'll see some of you there.

Yeah, I think something like a sketch group would be pretty awesome. And I'm not just saying that because I really really need the help.

Quick question for the group, is there anywhere other than TSA to go for life drawing?

FalconInverse

There are a lot of CAers in the greater Toronto Area.. I met with about 20 or 30 of them, not long ago.. but that was in Oakville - Sheridan, where all those fortunate beings attend on a daily basis. Starving artsists which they be, it is less likely that they will be able to come into the city for.. anything at all.. particularly since they have constant life drawing availiable to them in Oakville.

Right now I'm taking a couple of life-drawing courses at the AGO, but its a signup course, which is already in session.

I don't know many places where life drawing is availiable otherwise, except the TSA and Gladstone, of which i've tried only TSA..

As for sketching groups... um.. strength in Numbers right?? If something like that were to be organized, i'm game.

The Art Gallery of Ontario hosts 3 different sculpting classes (one three hour session a week for 10 weeks).

The current semester is in week 2, but they'll probably start up again with a new batch of students in Janurary. Courses are $350 each ($280 for members)

SCULPTURE
Introduction to Sculpture *
Fridays, 10am to 1pm

For the absolute beginner who wishes to work three-dimensionally, this course covers fundamental techniques in a variety of sculptural processes. Direct study of the masterworks in our Henry Moore Centre and demonstrations in the studio are designed to develop an understanding of m, mass, volume and give you the skills needed to work with clay, plaster, and a variety of sculptural materials.

$35 material fee

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Figure Sculpture *
Thursdays, 7 to 10pm
Students work with armatures and modeling clay along with a live model to produce studies focusing on fundamental anatomical structure. Studio practice is supported through ongoing discussions and critiques of figurative sculpture from prehistory to today and tours of the galleries.

$45.00 model fee + $35 material fee.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sculpture Concepts *
Wednesdays, 7 to 10pm

What about starting an environment sketching group? Something where we get together at different locations around the city and sketch buildings from the inside or outside, or various other things. Allen gardens at Jarvis and Carlton comes to mind. Union station or any of the dozens of churches in the downtown area. Im game for stuff further out too I just don't know of anything because I live downtown. I also know of a few pubs that could do to be drawn:D

Im off from work from the 27th to the 30th if anyone is interested in getting together for beer. We can discuss what to do for a drawing group in a pub like environment. Its also my birthday soon so on the 28th or 29th I am getting and LCD projector and having a Star Wars Marathon. All six episodes in episode order with the Clone Wars cartoons as an interlude between 2 and 3. If anyone is interested I am already having a few friends over to join me:D

Do any of you guys know the "Red Room"? It's a nice moody little place on Spadina near College... It's got lots of room and we could take up a few tables in the back and just draw. They've got food and booze and all the good stuff. I was thinking this might be a good meeting place.

Okay, three sounds like a good enough start to make it worthwhile, at least.

Invite your friends, if you'd like, and don't forget your sketchbook. :)

See you guys there at seven!

Hi, I'm interested in this. How lucky for me I find this forum after Googling "Live sketching Toronto," what a coincidence it's right before an initial meet!
I live in the downtown, not far from the "redrum." If you don't mind, I'd like to attend.
I'll wear a hat with my name on it. Beats a nametag.:pirate:
After six-ish? No pressure...

Yep. That was quite interesting to say the least and it was fun.

I think the next sketch-meet should have a time frame for longer pieces. It did seem kind of a rush at times to get something done so I think even 5-15 more minutes can allow for more awesome sketches.

SkullClutter
September 9th, 2008, 10:32 PM
I had a blast, guys.

I think it'd be easier to do longer sketch times once we have a few thought out sketch topics rather than just what we can think up on the spot.

I also found a pub we might like to try... It's bright, the music isn't loud and it's rarely busy. Plus, I know the owner, so he might even let us have models in the back room? It's something to think about, anyway!

Ahm, Wednesday night is okay for me, but I think that's about it (and tuesday, of course). My schedule is kind of ridiculous, lately. :(

well.. I was there from 7 to 8 alone ...

Oh boy...

We had an issue with the Savannah Room not opening at 6, with no indication anywhere on when it would open. We figured that it was best to find another place (turning out to be the Red Room again) instead of waiting for who-knew-how-long. We were also aware you would come later so we left a note at the front door with your name on it. Unfortunately, when Randalt went back to the room a little after 6:30, the note was gone and you weren't there.

It was largely an error in judgment on our parts. I figured you left already since the note, indicating our status, disappeared between the time we left and the time Randalt came back to check and we weren't at the Savannah Room. I certainly did not expect you to arrive at 7 or else we could have checked over there again.

It's unfortunate that you had to waste an hour because of this and we are truly sorry for what happened.

I've only recently lived in Toronto as well and, as a student on heavy loans, I tend to be very conservative with going out to buy food and drinks which is why I never order anything in our meetings. I also never drink coffee, so to answer the question, I'm clueless as to where we could go (unless you want suggestions on good Chinese restaurants, which are really friggin' loud :anime: )

I could explore Queen Street West indepth tomorrow since I do walk past some restaurants. Maybe some of them will be valid options.

We can always go for outdoor sketching at the park if it's too crowded which I doubt it.

Great night yesterday, Sai and bitjockey. As planned, here is outline for next week:

Date: Thursday, October 2nd
Location: TBA
Plan: We will be drawing our own creative interpretations of "The Elephant Man" ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Merrick ). Of course, this does not mean we have to draw people who resemble closely to Merrick but, more so, drawing loveable (or not so loveable?) men/women who are unfortunate (or fortunate?) enough to be born with different physical traits than the average human being. Obviously, there will be many ways to portray this theme and that's why Sai, bitjockey, and I decided to use this theme for the entirety of next week's meet.

Reference of relevant material will be greatly appreciated for this sketch-meet.

SkullClutter

I'm going to bring in 3 pages of subway sketches and my human anatomy book (might as well get reference of real people before manipulating them).

EDIT: Nice session, everyone. Next week:

Date: October 9th, 2008
Location: Probably the Claremont and Queen St West Starbucks again
Theme: Like insects? Like robots? Like wars? Well, for the majority of next week's session, we will be drawing Insect Robot Wars! Reference of insects will be provided (I hope) and we'll be drawing crazy robot insects of all types (long ranged, short ranged...) kicking ass.

Alex Chow
October 16th, 2008, 02:12 PM
Yep. The sketchmeet will be tonight at 6 in the Claremont/Queen Starbucks.

I'll be printing out pictures of insects I guess. I do not have a book or any other resources other than the goldmine of advice from Bobby Chiu (he even drew in my sketchbook and let me see his!).

Alex Chow
October 18th, 2008, 09:05 PM
I was typing a message out before my computer crashed :S.

For next week, the topic is up in the air though bitjockey has suggested we do something environment/landscape related. Some ideas:

-steampunk
-futuristic
-mystical (fantasy forests, castles, etc.)
-civilization themed
-post-apocalyptic
-golden age

Of course, I'll let others input ideas as well. Just to put it down, I think it's best if the time intervals for drawing become 20 min because environments tend to be more elaborate than a single creature or character.

EDIT: For all Torontonians reading this and not already know this, I highly suggest attending Bobby Chiu's Subway Sketching every Sunday 3:30 pm at Union Station. Just two sessions, the way I draw has vastly improved. The environment, when a person may move at any given moment, STRESSES the artist's ability to capture the essence of a person, very helpful especially when trying to develop a style. The people there, including Chiu, are very helpful and supportive regardless of skill level. I asked Chiu to critique my sketches today and he actually gave me excellent advice. Definitely check it out.

On October 25th, Chiu and other artists are also going to the Toronto Zoo to sketch, starting at 12:15 pm. Prices are discounted from 20 dollars to 9 dollars per ticket for us (because Chiu is awesome that way) so, if you have time, go check this out as well.

Some more ideas for thursday. More like sub-topics for things that Amaranth mentioned:
-Residential (streets with houses, interiors...)
-Government (government buildings, a king's castle...)
-Commercial
-Industrial (Factories, industrial transport..)
-Agricultural
-Recreational (Parks, sporting venues, tourist attractions..)

I hope bitjockey sees this before coming downtown. As I've stated before, it just isn't fun to have only two people for sketchmeets. Because of this, I will not be going tonight unless bitjockey does not reply to your message, Sai.

If this is cancelled, we'll save ZOMBIES for next week. An alternative is available though, and that's a 3 hour life drawing session between 7 and 10 tonight at the Toronto School of Art (410 Adelaide Street West) for 10 dollars. Just putting it out here since I have yet to see a cheaper life drawing drop-in session than this and some of the people there gives others tips; great stuff! It's actually a great idea to just take a rest if you're sick, of course. Just relax and take your time in your recovery. Nothing holds higher priority than one's health, not even drawing robotic wasp mechas!

November 8th, 2008, 12:54 PM
I would normally say "Go on without me!" (similar to all those war movies!) but if I leave, that would reduce the sketchgroup to two regulars, unfortunately.

My schedule is quite erratic but, on an absolutely "normal" week, I have only Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday off. My Fridays are very unreliable, and we've agreed to avoid Wednesdays.

The best day for me is Tuesday now. I don't expect others to change their schedule just for mine, however, which is why I would normally have no problem to just let it go on.

Hey there!

I'm not 100% sure I should post here, but this seems like the best thread so far. Anyways...

So, I'm in Toronto 5 days a week. I work as an intern in a studio on george st. , and I'd like to attend morning life drawing during the week. Is there any life drawing sessions during the morning during the week? If not then I'm in a jam; I can't make time to attend the life drawing in the afternoon, or on the weekends due to me living in Brampton (yes, I use transit to get to Toronto)

So the question becomes:a) what is the closest place to me with life drawing available? b)are there any morning sessions during the week? (not weekends)

I hope I posted in the right spot, and thank you for your time.

Visual Arts Brampton is probably your best bet. Their website says they have a drop-in life drawing session every tuesday from 7pm to 9pm. I haven't had the time to go myself, yet, but I've heard from other people that went and enjoyed it. You can also check out their website to see if they have anything going on during the day.

It sounds like we're switching to Wednesdays. I can't make it today, but I'll be back with a wide-open schedule next week. The play is going well. The set looks great (thanks mostly to my co-painter), the costumes look great, the audience sizes have been decent, and the actors are getting better with each show.

daestwen
December 17th, 2008, 09:32 AM
Dammit, I can't come. :/ I have to work and then I have to pick up a friend at the airport and I don't think I have time to fit a sketchgroup meeting in between. D:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to my fellow Torontonians!!

The new year has arrrived and I am interested in getting together with local area artists. My job allows me weeknights and weekends to hangout.

I was wondering if anyone has thought about what day of the week and at what time you guys will get together and where ??

I noticed in earlier posts that there was uncertainty as to when you guys where going to gather due to holidays sicknesses and some folks were leaving.

:lifedrawing:

Cheers!!

I don't think we'll get a chance to meet up until the new year. We had decided on Wednesdays but this week, wednesday is New Year's Eve.

GunCameraX
January 1st, 2009, 08:01 AM
I was thinking after New Years.

Wednesdays are good... Just need a time and a place.

I have alot of things I need to accomplish this year and getting involved with local area artists is high on my list.

Just wondering if everyone was up for a meeting this week.

daestwen

Yah, I'm up for Wednesday, if that's still the best day for everyone else.

SkullClutter
January 5th, 2009, 01:52 PM
Yep, still works for me.

Alex Chow

Er, guys, actually, finally got my schedule. Got a teaching assistant job, and it turns out the class... is Wednesdays from 7 - 10.

So I'm out, for wednesdays. :/

Is there another day that we can do...?

SkullClutter
January 6th, 2009, 09:07 AM
I work 9-5 and I've got art class on Saturdays from 1 - 4. Other than that, I'm wide open.

Alex Chow
January 6th, 2009, 10:49 AM
Thursday, Friday, and Sundays are unavailable for me. Monday, previously unavailable, is now open for me. So I'm open for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

SkullClutter
January 8th, 2009, 01:09 PM

daestwen
January 11th, 2009, 06:53 PM
Did you guys still want to meet at that Starbucks? I haven't been to a meeting there yet, but, is that still the best place?

SkullClutter
January 11th, 2009, 09:55 PM
The starbucks still works for me.

Alex Chow
January 13th, 2009, 11:36 AM
I might not have the time today but just post the time and location and if I am available, I'll walk in.

daestwen
January 19th, 2009, 01:37 AM
so, guys? are we on for this tuesday or what?

I have a class until four, and i need to get dinner and stuff, but 7 oclock would be okay for me.

SkullClutter
January 19th, 2009, 09:07 AM
I'm good for tomorrow. I'll need to grab a bite to eat after work, so 7 should work.

Alex Chow
January 19th, 2009, 12:34 PM
I shouldn't have anything going for tomorrow, so I think I'm going to be free.

What will be the location?

SkullClutter
January 19th, 2009, 01:08 PM
The usual Starbucks?

SkullClutter
January 20th, 2009, 09:04 AM
Here's the google maps link that was posted a few pages back:

Starbucks at Queen St. West and Clairmont (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=queen+street+and+claremont&sll=43.645897,-79.409008&sspn=0.002857,0.006722&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=16&iwloc=addr)

There's also a Green P parking lot just a tad further west from the Starbucks.

daestwen
January 20th, 2009, 10:26 AM
Wow, jeez, i had no idea it was so out of the way. I have to get everywhere by TTC. :/ And it's fucking cold!

No where closer to a subway station?

SkullClutter
January 20th, 2009, 10:49 AM
No idea, but I'm open to suggestions.

Or, alternately, I drive; I can pick you up somewhere.

daestwen
January 20th, 2009, 11:52 AM
shit, looks like it might not be an issue anyway :/

class was rescheduled for 6:30 - 9:30

I could potentially hop out a little early if people were willing to push it back a little bit? I might miss the beginning, but :/

SkullClutter
January 20th, 2009, 12:18 PM
That might be doable. When do you think you'd be able to get there?

Alex Chow
January 20th, 2009, 12:18 PM
There's a massive Chapters with a Starbucks a little west of Osgoode Station on John Street.

Suggest the time whatever you like. I can go any time.

daestwen
January 20th, 2009, 12:23 PM
how late are they open till, though? probably not past ten.

actually most starbucks close by ten, don't they?

Alex Chow
January 20th, 2009, 12:58 PM
I'm out of ideas. I'm never out that late before.

SkullClutter
January 20th, 2009, 01:40 PM
Tim Horton's are usually open 24 hours, aren't they?

I'm not sure how much past 10 I'd be able to stay out, though. I've got work tomorrow morning.

daestwen
January 20th, 2009, 01:44 PM
ah well.

a_a

why don't you guys just meet up at the usual time, and text me if you happen to still be out at 9:30?

i'll pm bitjockey my number

SkullClutter
January 20th, 2009, 01:52 PM
Got it. :)

Now we just need a location.

Alex Chow
January 20th, 2009, 04:09 PM

daestwen
January 20th, 2009, 04:18 PM
might as well go to the usual if i might not be able to make it anyway!

I can always take the spadina streetcar, i guess

revitgnome

Gents,

None of you know me. I saw this post while I was looking at the forums last night. I would very much like to join you for tonight's sketch night. I am from Chicago, and happen to be in Toronto for business, and my hotel isn't too far from there.

If there are no objections, I'll stop by at the very least get a cup of coffee.

--Regards

SkullClutter
January 20th, 2009, 04:37 PM
Okay, Starbucks it is. I just wanted to make sure.

revitgnome: If you're in the area, feel free to stop by. You should be able to spot us from the sketchbooks.

Bitjockey, Amaranth

It was very nice meeting the both of you. I haven't sketched something fun in quite awhile, made me realize how much I missed it.

I'm in Toronto about once a month, I'll definitely try to make it again the nex time I'm in town.

Are we up for today?

daestwen
January 27th, 2009, 10:38 AM
I'm up for today, and I have a friend in tow.

Would you guys be willing to meet somewhere closer to the subway, though? There's a really nice starbucks at Yonge + Bloor, but is that too far out of the way? We could also meet up at the Eaton Centre and hang out there - we'd have lots of people to draw and wouldn't have to worry about ordering coffee, and it's walking distance from OCAD for those that don't want to take the subway.

SkullClutter
January 27th, 2009, 01:21 PM
Either or is fine by me. There looks to be plenty of parking in the area.

daestwen
January 27th, 2009, 02:26 PM
bitjockey - yeah, if we go to the one at Yonge + Bloor, you can even come park behind my dad's house. It's just a couple blocks walk, but it would mean you would get free parking. :P Otherwise Eaton's centre is fine too, just a little more money to park, but might be easier for other people to reach.

Do you know if anyone else is coming?

SkullClutter
January 27th, 2009, 02:41 PM
No idea. I'll go poke Amaranth.

SkullClutter
January 27th, 2009, 04:40 PM
Okay, I have to head out soon, so are we going to Starbucks or the Eaton Centre?

daestwen
January 27th, 2009, 05:43 PM
Eaton Centre, south food court, 7 pm!

See you there :D

Alex Chow
January 27th, 2009, 06:50 PM
I couldn't post in time because I was out for a bit and I couldn't confirm my status until now.

Unfortunately, I cannot come today because I have a family Chinese New Year dinner in a bit (yes, I know it's past CNY but family likes to have huge meals for this week). I know it's a tad late to post and I apologize for that.

daestwen
January 27th, 2009, 11:23 PM
Ah, that's okay! Hope you had/have a good time!

We'll be meeting same time and place next week. :]

daestwen

Okee dokee, so who's all coming out this week?

SkullClutter
February 2nd, 2009, 03:00 PM
I'm free for tomorrow.

Alex Chow
February 2nd, 2009, 09:59 PM
My schedule has been very erratic lately and heading off to Eaton's Centre is quite a trip for me. I have no reason to try to change the location or time either since it looks to be convenient for others (and it is a great place to sketch people I'll admit). I already feel bad for changing the times once or twice but there's just too many things, including my Sheridan animation portfolio (which I'm working off my ass for since everybody, including Bobby Chiu, said it was hard to get in for), to deal with.

Until my portfolio review is done and my schedule calms down, I will not be able to make sketch meetings unfortunately.

daestwen
February 3rd, 2009, 01:21 AM
Aw, that's a shame. :( i can totally understand though. God knows I've been busy! bitjockey, if it's just the two of us and you don't feel like it's worth coming all the way into the city for, no worries. I've been trying to drum up interest but it's a slow process. :P

edit: never mind! managed to talk my animation buddy brent into coming, so there will be at least three of us this week, if you're still interested.

SkullClutter
February 3rd, 2009, 03:05 PM
Yep, I'm still good for this week. I've got a piece I'm working on that I could use your opinion on, anyway. :)

Amaranth: Sorry to hear you can't make it, but I understand completely. Best of luck with the portfolio!

daestwen
February 3rd, 2009, 06:40 PM
ah, brent cancelled, so it's back to the two of us.

daestwen
February 4th, 2009, 11:02 AM
Okay guys! Bitjockey and I have cancelled next tuesday, to instead push it back to SUNDAY, FEBRUARY THE 15TH, so we can go to the ROM to draw instead! :D

As it's only open until 5:30, I'm thinking somewhere around noon would be best?

Who's up for it? I have a couple friends who want to come, so hopefully we can pull a bigger group together.
