Good match up, Rook. You have an excellent grasp on your light scheme and I like how you can hint at thick forests with those suggested lines and strokes. i can't do that to save my own life. I definitely had fun, man.

It's definitely cool to see what you can come up with on the fly with only vague discriptions. If I wasn't so busy with school, I'd definitely commit to doing this four or five days a week. As it is, I'm open to accept challenges once our twice a week if anyone's interested.

gotta say, as individual pieces wihtout the theme, I think rook's would win. but! since the topic was alien jungle, exo's fit that much better. good work guys, these battles are great for friendly competition

Agree with the rest. I think yours is better executed Rook, but I'm going with Exo's because I couldn't see if they were martians or weird rubber trees, and I think that's cool.

maybe I should start going by my entire nicname. "Juan-Pablo Exo Rodriguez the third".

I can kind of understand about my execution being less than great. It's not often that I attempt speed paintings and my time allocation was all off. I spent a lot of time getting a general color and light scheme nailed down but my forms and details suffered from lack of attention. Oh well. There's always next time.
