Ok folks!

This is an idea for waking up the minorty in these forums.
People are doing local T.domes so why don't we?...i know that there are lots of talented people in here just watching, not showing work. Now it's the time! All of the good artists showing up here are mostly european or american.
What about the rest of the world? What we do here is limiting the area and making an Eastern European T.Dome. If you feel sure of yourself and if you live in one of these countries:

Reply to this thread and say i'm on...This will be same with the other Thunderdomes. You will challenge someone and the winners will be selected after that. Firstly we'll see the attendance, if it's enough we'll go on. If you're not serious about this just don't join in this event. This is all about art and waking up the sleepers ;)

Oh and some pro's will do the judging. I'll ask some of them after the majority formed...

The media is free, but full color illustrations prefered.
Post your wips in this thread if you want, but you can post only 2 wips.
I'll open a finished images thread soon. So you can post yours there.
Try to post together with your opponent.
Deadline is: 20 October

Judges will be selected soon.

That's a great idea but acording to this Turkey and Greece for example should go to West Europe's side and i'm not sure there would be enough people to fight for East europe. Someone has to wake up the Russians. They have great artist but they had a few to many :vodka2: last night

Yea, Greece and Turkey is not in the borders of eastern europe but i just wanted to see if there are some artists in these countries. You're right about Russia. If you know someone from Russia please tell them...the call process will be endless i guess. No one woked up yet.... :^^;:

OLSEN > East and west thing is cool but there aren't enough people in the east. The main idea is to wake them up. But after a while if we can not bring enough people we can add the north side to the competition. I guess the east is more Fine-Art oriented - however, the Russians & the east in general should have lots of concept-artists ready for a fight.

northern guys will be with easterners in that big event (If they want...). Those are Finland,Sweden and Norway. So you must wait for the second event.(The big one!) This is like a practice for us, to see our real power...

Icey - The rules are simple. You will choose your opponent and decide a subject. The media is free but full color illustrations are prefered. Painter, Photoshop...anything goes. Only 1 image. I'm gonna put a more detailed "to do" list on 1st Oct.

More than half of all the people in this contest is for Romania - so I don't think you guys all have a chance of not fighting against each other. Don't take it that seriously - it's not like we're fighting for life and death :) Just pick up someone who represents style or level like yours and start doing some art.

I dont mean to boss you around but it's only 12 days left people - and it's gonna pass faster than you think. And I'm sure that we would all be happier if we saw 24 finished pieces at the end instead of 5 - 10.

BTW - What's up with lung bug - I'm looking forward to see anything from him, is he still in ?

Oh right :P , the subject. The Catacomb creature: a creature who lives in a human made catacomb. People who broke the law and deserves death will be thrown into the catacomb where the creature will kill him. The creature have to see in the dark or have some senses cause the catacomb is pitch black with only 2 torches. The creature should have something to kill the human with and would be good if he moves fast.

Avatar - very nice piece, it has a very strong old RPG feel, very nice pose and anatomy work, you should maybe try to find one good focal point to concentrate on - right now my eye seems to "jump around" too much

Thanks a lot for the advice thirdeye. I always had problems with this focus thing. Because I have a panoramic vision I think everybody has. One defect I will have to surpass somehow. I love your sketches. Can't wait to see what you'll come with next.
