Cool pictures.
I especially like AR1 and AR2.....good composition and use of ambient light.
Were they originally colour? If so, nice grayscaling.
I like the subtle use of colour in the "EXIT" sign.
As for shooting people….are you looking for candid shots of controlled portraits?

Long time no see.. But I've been active. Here are a few photos from when I went up to Itasca state park and wandered around Park Rapids.. They didnt throw me out, so it was a good time.
A little photoshop editing (Minus the whole frame thing).. my camera sucks, so I gotta. Enjoy

holy crap the sea of sunflowers is awesome! its just something you never see (or well i never see)
AR1 is really nice as well and the City Park one is nice, but wouldnt be nearly as nice if it wasnt for the classy framing IMO

to be quite honest that white border and randomly chosen text does no justice to those exquisite photos. i'd definitely lose the borders, those pictures are honestly strong enough on their own :teeth:

Hey thanks guys for looking. I really appreicate it.
I could try it without the borders, Maybe the next batch Ill try that with. I still have more to put up, I just haven't had a chance to do anythign with them yet.
ALso I have a lot more sunflower ones. I just thought that one was the strongest, but Ill get the rest when I can. Hopefully soon.

hi there! thanks for the nice words in my gallery! nice bunch of pictures you have there! "hiding" is definetely my favourite one. i like that you treat the photo like a portrait of a person and concentrate on the face.
your challenge-entry is great, too. i'm gonna vote for that! looking forward to your updates!

The dogs are so cute!! I like hiding the best also. Your dogs are great for photography because they have very expressive faces. My only suggestion is make sure you really pay attention to light when you are shooting because a couple of them are over exposed or a little washed out. Great pics! And keep posting!
