I just got a copy of "Goad: The Many Moods of Phil Hale" yesterday. DAMN!
I had only seen a couple pieces from him before (mostly in Spectrums. I know he's been around a while but I'm slow >:| ) but now he's right up there as a favorite artist.
Anyone have any other of his books to recommend? I'm thinking of getting Double Memory next.

O M G... :O
it was huge right? Why was Phil Hale art in the comic con? Who was in charge of Hale's stuff over there?
and also, what book cover did you get at SDCC? the one with the screaming mouth or the blue one?

Denart: Yeah, it was huge...i think it was 7'x5'. I took a pic of it, but im not sure if I can post it. I bought the book with the screaming mouth.
Once I left the booth and moved to the next one I see some random guy talking on his cell and I look at his badge and it turned out to be JUSTIN SWEET! :bashful: I couldnt believe it, so I said to some older guy(i didnt know him)"hey, thats Justin Sweet!" and he says " Yeah, I can't believe it either. So I talked w/ Justin for a bit(too bad he didnt have a booth, but he was hanging out at someone elses booth. Anyways, the older guy I talked to was MARSHALL VANDRUFF! I didnt know who he was until I looked at his badge and I was just going crazy (not really, but i was pretty excited by this time <3 ) He was messing with me before when he said he was lookin for Sweet.
In like 5 min. I had met two great artists, bought the Phil Hale book, and saw his Original. It was great!
Oh and guess what....I saw LEYENDECKER and Cornwell originals:jawdrop: . I know you're wondering if I took pics..... U BETTER BELIEVE IT! (I'll post them later)

I'm sure you are allowed to, there are no copyrights or laws against it, I mean, it was showcased publicly at SDCC! And it is your picture that you took
