I feel so isolated... does it help that I'm an attractive young blonde woman with really long legs? Come on, damnit!

Thought that might help ;) I used to live in BC... Quesnel, actually, just a bit south of Prince George. Whereabouts are you?

Not in the Atlantic region, Vancouver BC myself.... :bashful:

Aww... I love Vancouver. Wish I were there. It's impossible to get good Japanese food on this end of the country. Just dulce and lobster (ugh).
I've lived on the east coast for 6 years and the people here still kind of creep me out. They actually yield to pedestrians... sometimes even jay-walkers!

Hey Tully!
I live in Moncton, New Brunswick, close to Sackville. So you live in both cities or something?
Haha So, you creeped out by overly nice Maritimers? Yeah, we're like that
So what brings you to the East coast?

Ah! Another one!! An NBer no less... and not far away.
I moved to Saint John when I was fourteen (six years ago) because my stepdad got a job here. Nothing enthralling perhaps, but that's the story, or lack thereof).
I'm heading back to Sackville in a couple of weeks to start school again. Good ol' Mount A Fine Arts department... I can't wait. I've been working in a souvenir shop all summer, so I get all the american cruise ship tourists who insult our currency and somehow imagine that I use the word "aboot." Most are perfectly nice, but oh, the stories I have...

Ah, Mount A... Good parties there, at Harper Hall especially, whew.. The memories...the hazy, hazy memories...
I know quite a few people who've graduated from the arts program there, seems quite good.
Well, if you wanna talk bout concept art or share some of those American tourist stories, shoot me an email at
[email protected] Not too many people interested in concept art around these parts you know hehe

Hehe, getting used to "small town" eastern life? Did you know it has the greatest number of bars per capita than any other city in Canada? You've moved to the happiest place on earth.
I think you may just be the only newfie here, Snowball... but there are lots of displaced ones where I live.
