Topic = The Venetian Queen's Floating Palace

Inspiration is things like the palace style floating restaurants such as Jumbo in Hong Kong, Roman Nemi Ships and Thai Royal barges.

For my environment I wanted to take the idea of a floating palace literally and make it so that the palace floated above the water. You can read into like the queen is so high and mighty that she won't touch the water, she also rides in a cabin, which is in bottom left, because she wont touch the ground either. I added some extra enviro to put the whole thing into a venitian setting. My first ship design...I hope you like it.

One day, the Queen's Palace rose above the kingdom, then floated away.

Imagine Queen as young and famous celebrity (like Paris Hilton) which life is just one big party. It lives everywhere where she came with her own Disco Palace which she has got from her father (multimillionaire guy that owns patent for hovering buildings ). This time she came visit futuristic San Francisco. Let the party begin!

I'd heard rumors of a lost city in the depths of Hang Ken, the locals spread the stories of how they'd seen spirits moving erratically about the caves entrance and disappearing as they approached. Never did I imagine that an undiscovered species of seemingly intelligent arachnids would be the cause of such folklore.
The architecture is reminiscent of Venice, suggesting they're of Italian descent. The material is a thicker variant of spider web. Though I've not studied them up close -nor do I have such intention for now- the species seems to have a larger sac and a distinct pale glow.
As ludicrous and perplexing as this is, I can't find any evidence that this is a prank.
It's also completely possible I've lost my mind.

Great work everyone! I was just thinking about decrepit things. Like it has been floating there for some time.

Here's my first attempt at the environment challenge. I'd love some critique.
My concept revolves around the Venetian Queen enjoying her free time on a glorified gondola which is topped with a classic venetian styled villa.

You guys are amazing as always =) Here's my entry, not very original but it was a lot of fun.
It was a good thing the Queen's new palace floated above her "simple people". Because if the most expensive creation in history ever sunk to the earth, the people would ensure she'd never set foot on the ground again.

'By 2121, Venice was almost completely submerged underwater, the Italian government needed a way too bring back tourists, so the floating palace was built, attracting people from around the world and housing the monarch of Venice for centuries to come'
