Ok, for now my work method is like colouring the line work with the oil pastel brush, I have a few layers, firts I do a base color for every layer (skin etc) then I start to ad darker or lighter tones to the base with a 50% opacity, adding more strokes if I want more instensity.

Then I have to clean the color outside the outlines.

Some more tips? something cool to try? and what format I should use? the colors are heavily different from firefox to Google Chrome, I'm doing something wrong?

Well, my best results from now are something like this:

there's plenty of tutorial threads around the site, an obvious place to start could be in the stickies http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?107217-Digital-Painting-In-PS-2
