Here is a sketch I did in painter. Had a lot of fun with this one.

I agree, that does look good. But, if there's one thing I learned on these boards, its compostition. My eyes keep getting caught where the two hands come together. I suggest that if you ever plan to change this picture, or do another like it, that you put one of the arms in an upraised position - as if to strike. Then the eye could flow from the head, up the raised arm, then down to his right knee and right arm, then follow his left leg off the page. I hope that helps. :)

and again - I can't yet paint that well, so, nice job.

I agree with were the arms meet but i think if you add more detal to the arm in the back and brighten up the face more it will bring your eyes to the face instaid of the arms.

Actually, the pose is a bit odd, but I dig it man. Odd as it may be, the pose is very Kung Fu like. One of those "low to the ground" styles.

It looks like he's right in the middle of a movement, so he's not perfectly balanced at an end point, or a beggining point. It's not perfect, but it's interesting. We've got some unique movement there, which is cool

His back arm could use some work, and maybe a nice hard light source. The rest of his body is too lit up and clearly defined for his back arm to fade into a silhouette outline so abruptly.

My favorite part is your lighting on the clothing. I noticed there's some blue, a little violet, and various rust type shades in the shadows. Looks way better than if you'd just used shades of gray. The hightlights on the folds and wrinkles are awesome. You used a lightling style that I've been trying to get into, but I've got to break some old habits first.

Good Work.

Another person corrupted by recent comic artists into giving Wolverine overly long claws! Arrghhhh they have to fit in his forearms!

Sorry, I'm just a rabid Wolverine fan.

Seriously though, that looks really good man.

Cool Wolvie, but logans face reminds me a bit of a drunken sailor (just my idiotic vision...)

Post more of those sketches, would love to see Psylocke or Rogue...maybe Gambit too.

thanx guys for the comments. Sorry for the long ass claws I know it doesn't make any sense but I think it looks cool anyway.
