Does anyone know where I can lay my hands on some production art from Legend, Ridley Scott's 1985 fairytale. The film itself is deeply flawed, but Assheton Gorton and Leslie Dilley's production design is incredible.
Is there an 'art of' book out there? I couldn't find jack on Google.
cheers

my favorite creature was the swamp witch. She was so rad lloking
tom cruise"you dont intend to eat me do you"?

Hrm.... This gonna be a hard find. The only stuff I've ever seen from this movie was from a very talented artist named Miles Teves.
http://www.milesteves.com/film.html
And he only has the bust on the site. Plus he has hasn't updated his site in long while.
Alan Lee also worked on this film.
His stuff might be easier to find.
I'm not dead sure, but I think there are at least boards on the Legend dvd.
That's all I got.

The make-up effects on Tim Curry were some of the best in Holywood to this day as far as I'm concerned. He scared the crap out of me when I was a little. He was just so utterly evil.
I think that film is a lot better than people give it credit for. It may not be one of Ridley Scott's best but it's still pretty decent.

Dude, Tim Curry *is* evil, but that's besides the point :D
Seriously, I agree Exo - that was fabulous. I saw Legend when I was a teenager, and I still love that film, and in (very) large part because of Tim's character. Fabulous performance and fabulous make up.
Cheers,

I love this movie, and it would be so cool to have the
concept art or something about how this movie was made.
Has anyone seen the different versions? I've seen two versions,
and I think there was a third one made.

I thought Alan Lee of LOTR fame did the conceptual work for Legend.
yea i couldnt get through labyrinth. i think whats her name was just entering the labyrinth when i shut it off.
I definitely see inspiration for The Legend of Zelda in the movie Legend.
I thought the movie ended weird. and i only like the special edition with new music and extended and reworked scenes.
