Hi Guys,
Here's a bunch of characters I conceptualized, created, and animated for an online educational math game for kids, grades 1st-6th (Sokikom- www.sokikom.com). Also, I created themed isometric game lobby rooms for the kids' avatars to walk around and chat in. All the artwork is vector, imported into and animated in Flash. I had a lot of fun creating it and it's had a great response from the age bracket that plays the game. Love to hear what you guys think.

(Goes without saying, all character and scenes are copyrighted by Sokikom)

I like it,
i'm curious about how you do the bold linework?

Thanks, Tad. Essentially, After I finish the sketch, I "ink" it in either Sketchbook or Photoshop, making the lines the thickness I want (just black and white). Then I vectorize it with Illustrator Live Trace, then clean it up using CorelDraw (much faster to clean up the lines than Illustrator), and finally I color it using Illustrator and using Illustrator's erase tool to create the lighting/shading effect. It's a bit of a process, writing it all down here, but actually doesn't take quite as long as it might sound.
