PrettyKitty13

Let me introduce myself.
I'm known around the internet as PrettyKitty13, or Pk, whichever you wish. I'm highly active on a pet site called Aywas, and I'm a frequent member of FurAffinity.
My passion is art, and it has been for 11 years. That's most likely something that I share with many of you guys, and I think it's high time to focus on improving my artwork. It's something I want to do for the rest of my life, and I'll never give that up.
I hope and plan to go to college for art, but I'm not dead-set on what I want to exactly do.
I have far too much that I want to be a part of, and far too much that I want to accomplish. And too little time to decide. I go off into the real world next school year.
There are many places I want to dip my toes in, and many other places I want to dive in completely.
I love animation. I know the veeery basics of it, but I want to fine tune that and be able to work on it more.
Drawing in general is what I do. I love the idea of character designing.
I love environmental concept art, though it is terribly difficult for me. I think I'll be doing some digging through these forums to hone those skills.
...There's just way too much to type right now as to what I want to be a part of in the animation and art field, but let's just put it like this:
If I were to make a cartoon or an animated movie, I'd want to
Make the characters
Animate the characters
Voice the characters
Map out the environments
Make the music
I've got interests beyond art, touching music and acting as well.
I sound like a heavily confused person, right? Exactly. If I could put each and every interest of mine into a core curriculum, it'd be a miracle xD
Now onto the title.
I have been a bit nervous of this site. Looking back at my deserted account, I joined back in May of 08. That's out of this world... I basically felt that my work was, and still is too cartoony for this site, and that my work would be ripped to shreds via critique. I honestly couldn't handle that.
But now here I am, 8 months before graduation, hoping to "evolve into a better artist," however that may shape me. I think I can handle critique better than I could three years ago. I mean, as long as it's meant to help me. Harsh or not, I'll most likely get over it.
Hmm...Let's see, is there anything else?
Oh! I read the thread "Becoming a better Artist" and I really adore the weekly ChOW and COW. I really want to get in on that.
Thanks for reading! And I plan on becoming much more active on this site! *bookmarks*
