Death and the Maiden sculpture/live model composite

this is my envisioning of the classic theme Death and the maiden that will be featured in our art book Bizarro Au Go-Go which will be released next month. I sculpted the death maquette and my girlfriend who is a photographer shot the sculpture and a live model in the same lighting and then composited the two together. to see more live model/sculpture composites and other insanity check out

Nice work, your girlfriend did a good job matching the lighting, really makes it look like the whole thing is one sculpture. Bizarro Au Go-Go looks like it would have been a lot of fun to work on.

thanks, yeah it's a whole lot of fun but it's just my girlfriend and I doing everything so it's also a whoole lotta work haha

I love the photo except the way she's covering up her breasts seems unnatural. Should've wore something if she was worried about their exposure.
