Hello, I'm new here. I'm into remote control vehicles and robotics. I saw this forum first and figured it might be a good place to ask about material.
I want to make a cover/shell for an RC vehicle I have. Basically like a car body but not a car, more like a tank shell.
I wanted to see if anyone could recommend the type of material I can make this with. Possibly fiberglass or other harder compound, something that will allow me to sand, a hard shell type material.
The size would be approximately 3 feet long by 2 feet wide. 1/10 scale. I have the idea in my head and can create a 3D rendering soon.
Here are some images for something close to what I want to make, of course with less detail:
http://www.starstore.com/acatalog/sw-turbo-tank-vehicle.jpg
Or something simular to the Starwars AT-AT, without the legs and head of course. Just the body.

Anyway, thanks for the help.
