Do you mind telling me how it can be improved?

I like it alot. Nice and clean, good colour scheme. The only thing is I can see '?' in an angled square box (I presume it should be a bullet point or similar?) between the text: Cleandesignsthatmaximizereadabilityandrecogn ition
I think this is due to the Doctype settings - can you see it too?

^^^ agree with nookie. It's clean, colours are nicely done, and looks professorial. Although i dont like the half tone logos that appear aside 'sign', 'pixel' and 'games' when the cursor is dragged over them... its seems like you proud of the logo and have tried to over use it. I think the change is colour of the font is more than suitable on its own.
Also you need much more work displayed... i'm guessing at this point the website is in early stages or you are in the process of developing you folio.
I think the clients it will attract will vary, but initial impression is simple, sharp and creative (which needs to be shown with vast array of works lol.... not that i can speak, i'm in a similar stage in starting a website and my own folio is lacking).
hope that helps

Thanks for the replies!
@Nookie: I have not experienced that problem before. What browser are you using? Also, do you mind posting a screenshot?
@steve pete: Thanks for the crits. I agree about the logo popping up. The only problem is that without the logo, 'simon' and 'sign' would not really make sense. Maybe I should I increase the transparency so that it doesn't stand out as much?
My portfolio is very much a work in progress. Most of what I have on the site is stuff I've done for free for my friends/contests.

I would urge you to show some more range, the site itself is fine.

It's pretty slick, as everyone has already said, and you have some sweet logo designs.
But the one thing that bothers me, is on the home page, the way some of the text is broken up:
"Clean designs that maxi
mize readability and re
cognition."
These weird line breaks couldn't have happened in a worse spot than in the line that's boasting readability... Come to think of it, I don't even know how those line breaks happened. I've never had html split my words.
Another thing is, I'm not big on how the navigation changes on each page. I feel like navigation needs to be consistent or it throws me off. I would consider keeping the words in the same order, but moving the logo down to the corresponding word. However, if you prefer the way you have it now, then I should mention that when you go to the pixel page, "pixel" does not go to the top of the page like the others do.

Thank you for your suggestions.
Here's an update: http://andysimondesign.com/
-Hopefully fixed the line break issue
-Made the nav consistent (as suggested by Weeda)

At first, the navigation was still acting weird but I think it was just because I didn't clear my history, because everything looks good now... The only other thing I see (and it's a really small issue) is that for some reason you have non-breaking spaces between all the words in "Clean designs that maximize readability and recognition." For the most part this isn't anything that anyone will notice, but certain browsers might display it weird. My phone, for instance, places a question mark icon between each word instead of a space.

I could also suggest that you use a darker grey for body copy or a different typeface. Also goes for the lime green bodycopy, for me i need to increase the font size to read it.
